Various types of skin cleanses have been performed for centuries. Herbs, sweat lodges, and saunas are just three types of cleansing that have been performed since ancient times.
Skin cleanses are performed because oftentimes, toxic substances are deposited into the fatty tissues that lie below the surface of your skin.
If your other detoxifying organs (lungs, kidneys, liver, colon, etc.) are not performing up to par, there will be more and more dumping of toxics into those tissue layers beneath your skin.
If your skin isn’t eliminating wastes in an efficient manner, then there will be some serious backup of toxins throughout your body.
What makes it worse is that some of those toxins that are deposited
into those tissues under your skin eventually make their way into your
bloodstream.
