Afterthoughts
I thought it best to let Sara take the lead and share with us how she’s feeling about her experiences with Blessed Herbs. So, here I give the floor to our esteemed case study volunteer, Sara.
“My cleanse ended yesterday, and I would give this process four stars. I had some trepidations at first, mainly related to my fears of discomfort. What I found was that the whole hunger issue was most pronounced on day one, and nonexistent after that. I felt hungry at times, but it was never urgent or an issue. I’d have broth or, if it was time, juice and toxin absorber, and that would fill me up for a couple of hours.
“The bathroom action was also never urgent or an issue (except for once when I had to go at Wal Mart and my two year old yelled, ‘You pooped!’). When the plaque finally appeared, it actually felt different in my abdomen afterwards. It was like I could feel what was gone, even though I hadn’t felt it when it was in there. The action didn’t really get started until day four, and days four and five were quite active… but I can’t help feeling there’s more in there. Is that just me being hyper-conscious? Maybe.
“My point is, I decided to prolong the cleanse for a while longer. A couple more days. Maybe three. The Users Guide said that extending the fast five more days can be beneficial since many people see the most plaque on days six to nine, so I am curious about that. I did not purchase extra toxin absorbers for this, so I’ll just be taking the digestive stimulator and basically doing a juice fast.
“So I’m technically on day six of my cleanse, and since I’m doing this strictly voluntarily at this point, I’m finding the urge to eat MUCH stronger. It’s so bad that when I heard the Italian-sounding name of some athlete on ESPN, I started thinking about manicotti and red sauce. Oh my God I want to eat. Plus, my ‘cleansing reaction’ seems to be kicking in again, so I’m not feeling my best… the temptation to stop this nonsense is pretty strong right now.
“But I think I’m going to hold out. Besides, I only lost FOUR POUNDS (I was thinking surely 10) and I’d also like to see if that might change in another few days. I know, it’s vain, but I can’t help it. My motivation really is the plaque. But come on, I need at least five pounds. Seven would be great. Twelve?! Bring it.
“I definitely would recommend Blessed Herbs to anyone who wants to do a hard core balls-to-the-wall colon cleanse real fast. I would definitely use it again. I can feel a positive difference in my body, my emotions, and my attitude. Definitely has changed my attitude toward food… my husband remarked one day that it was a very Zen existence when you get excited about broth. It’s true! I was making a salad for him yesterday, chopping some broccoli with kitchen shears, thinking God I love broccoli. I really like that element. So overall I am more than happy with the results.”
One hour later
“I'm rethinking extending the fast. I’m so hungry.”
Two days later
“When it was all said and done I cleansed for five days with an extra two days of juice fasting. Those extra days were very productive and effective—I continued having bathroom experiences, and I lost a few more pounds in the process, for a total of seven or eight. I feel incredible and I can’t wait to use Blessed Herbs again in a few months.”
I love it when our participants get as excited about colon cleansing as I am!
