Several months ago, I wrote a blog post about green poop. I found out some more info about colored bowel movements and thought it would be best for me to share it with you here.
Here are reasons that you may be passing green stools:
- Food passed through your digestive system too quickly due to food poisoning, allergies, or a stomach virus
- You've been taking supplements or vitamins with iron
- You've consumed too many green veggies and not enough grains
- You've been consuming a lot of sugar
- You recently participated in a liver/gallbladder cleanse
- You take algae or chlorophyll supplements
If you can connect your green poo to something you've recently eaten, don't sweat it. There's really nothing to worry about. However, if you consistently have green bowel movements, you may want to go ahead and talk to your doctor about your colorful issue.

I enjoyed your blog. It’s easy to read, the content is good, and you’re an educated writer unlike most of the blogs I come across when searching on this topic. I will check back in the future and see if you have more articles. Thanks for posting this, I appreciate the information and the effort you put into your site.

Many parents have experienced disappointment and grief due to the decisions made by their adult children. The painful experiences of grandparents who are raising their grandchildren may be even more profound. If you are in this situation, you may still be holding on to the idea that you are responsible to "fix" your adult child. Or you may be forever waiting for your grown child to get his or her life together. Many frustrated grandparenadsfts have communicated these feelings to me. It is especially difficult to let go of wanting to make someone else change when you feel you are continually picking up broken pieces.
